The reverse features a galloping horse in vivid color, symbolizing strength, vitality, and forward movement. It’s paired with the Chinese character “壽” (Shòu), meaning “longevity,” surrounded by a polished proof background. The obverse displays Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.

Minted by the Perth Mint, this coin is made from .999 fine silver and weighs 15.591 grams (1/2 oz). It measures 36.6 mm in diameter and carries a face value of 50 cents, legal tender in Tuvalu.
